Groups including Commercial Outfitters that are visiting our Parks are required to have their own Liability Insurance and are required to submit a copy of their Policy with the Cherokee County Park Board named as insured on it, BEFORE they will be permitted to hold their event.
ALL COMMERCIAL OUTFITTERS:
The Annual Fee is $300.
ALL NON PROFIT OUTFITTERS and GROUPS:
There is no Annual Fee at this time but you must have and also submit a copy of your $1million liability policy with the Park Board named as an additional insured to receive permission to hold your group event.
We strongly suggest that you notify the Park Board by email the dates of your event so that we can advise you if there is a conflicting use at that time.
The Annual policies should be mailed or emailed to the Park Board offices in Centre no later than January of each year.
Event Only policies should be submitted no later that 7 days before your event. If the policy is not received, permission to hold the event will be withdrawn.
